The 3 Step Process
STEP 1: APPLY, EVALUATION & CONSULTATION
Complete the application form, attach all required documents and mail it to me for a pre-appointment evaluation. I will then contact you and schedule a consultation. During the consultation we will rework your budget, determine what you can afford to repay on your debt, discuss the debt review process and if you are confident that this process is for you, you will sign all the necessary documents and the process will start.
STEP 2: CREDIT AGREEMENTS & COURT ORDER
Your credit providers will be notified of your application for debt review. They will supply me with the information on your credit agreements. When I have finalised my evaluation I will notify them that your application will be referred to an attorney, who will present your case to a Magistrate. The Court will grant a court order which will show the amounts you have to repay on your debt and the duration.
STEP 3: PAYMENTS & CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE
You will be provided with a payment system to make repaying your debt easy. You pay one payment (as per the court order) to a Third Party Payment Processor and I will assist with the monthly repayments to your creditors. When all the accounts are paid in terms of the court order, you and the credit bureaus will be issued a clearance certificate They must then remove the debt review status from your credit profile.
